Based on popular online vote, one image will be awarded the prize for People's Choice Award. The entry that receives the highest number of online votes by the public will win the prize money for this category. In the event that multiple entries receive the same number of online votes, the winner will be determined by the judging panel who will consider elements of creativity and originality.
Voting for the People's Choice Award will open on Thursday 27 July 2017 and close on Sunday 20 August 2017. You can view the People’s Choice Award finalists online, at Council’s Ekka stand (11 August 2017 to 20 August 2017) and in the People’s Choice Gallery Exhibition at City Hall (27 July 2017 to 17 August 2017).
Voting is also available this year for the first time at the Council stand at the Ekka from 11 to 20 August 2017. For the Ekka voting only one vote per email address will be eligible for the People’s Choice Award.
